Levin Royal Pickguard dimensions

Hello all,

So I am new here - came looking for some information for my newly purchased early 50s Levin Royal - in doing some online searches came across this board several times, as it seems like there are a fair amount of knowledgable people here regarding old Levins! Please forgive me, I neither live in Sweden nor speak the language, so even though I tried to search to make sure this wasn't already answered, I may have missed something.

This very wonderful guitar came without the original Pickguard , but with holes that show that both a Pickguard and a neck mounted pickup where installed on the guitar at some point in time. I have a pickup I would like to install (fingerboard mount mini humbucker housing, ala Johnny Smith) that was made for me by rautia guitars, but I have not been able to find any reproduction pickguards and am having trouble finding something that fits. Fortunately I have a friend with a CNC machine who has agreed to make me one to spec if I get ahold of the measurements. So I am wondering if someone here happens to have measurements of a Pickguard for a Levin Royal with a cutaway?

Welcome to this forum!

I recently asked the same question on this forum. In swedish. And I got this advice: find a good picture of the guitar. From straight forward. Copy it and and open it in ”paint” , make it bigger in ”Paint” and print it. That was a good advice 😀!

I did not find any template for the Levin Royal pickguard for cutaway. I have copies of the rest, but no Royal cutaway. I have sent you copies of Levin Solist to scale. They are similar but bigger.

Maybe someone could measure length and width and post here. Or even better a scanned image.
